Church of Our Savior at Mission Farm
Church of Our Savior Episcopal Church, that pretty little stone church on Mission Farm Road (against the hills opposite the Killington Skyeship on Route 4), is celebrating the 200th anniversary of the 1817 farmhouse that has been serving as the church’s vicarage.

Plymouth’s beautiful new Memorial Garden, located at the Community Center, was dedicated at a special ceremony on Sunday, June 11, 2017. The Garden was created by Midge and Bruce Tucker, with help from town volunteers, in honor of their long-time friend and neighbor Eliza (Liza) Ward.

Summer seems to have arrived all of a sudden! I am not complaining although it does seem strange to have to water the plants these past few days. Tom was over at Camp Plymouth State Park on Sunday and it was bustling. So.. Keep reading

Yes, the weather is still a bit cool and unsettled, but the trees have leafed out nicely and everything is clothed in glorious shades of green! During my bike ride on Saturday, I was surprised to have very little traffic on Rte 100 and across Echo Lake, Camp Plymouth State Park seemed rather quiet, too. Other creatures were in attendance, ho.. Keep reading

As I write, the rain is falling – watering the earth, but hopefully not dampening spirits on this holiday Monday. The rest of the weekend, although not always sunny, at least provided plenty of time for outdoor activities. While manning the money table at the Antique and Treasures sale at the Community Center on Saturday, we were able to wa.. Keep reading

Returning from TX on Saturday night, it was so nice to be back in lush, green VT! Tom and I have been on 9 different airplanes in less than 6 months, so you might think we would have this traveling thing down pat. I do have one tip for you from our latest trip when my carry-on was searched – don’t pack a large zucchini in your bag!
I could.. Keep reading

Plans for the Strawberry Festival are Underway! — Margo’s Plymouth Report

Writing on Sunday morning, it was lovely to see the sun make an appearance again. The rain has washed driveways and the lakes seem very high, but at least we were spared the damage that occurred in Rutland on Friday evening. There was one light-hearted video that emerged, however, a port-a-potty being wind-driven across a parking lot!
The .. Keep reading
